How do I order over-the-counter items from UnitedHealthcare? ›

The benefit lets you get over-the-counter items by going to any allowed stores. You can also order by phone at 1-888-628-2770 (TTY: 711) Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 8 PM local time or online at https://www.cvs.com/benefits. You order from a list of approved items, and it will be sent to your address.

Your plan comes with a credit that will be loaded to your UnitedHealthcare UCard® every quarter for covered over-the-counter (OTC) products. Shop in-store or online for pain relievers, cold remedies, toothpaste, vitamins and more.

OTC items are not eligible for reimbursem*nt if they are normally used for general health, are not used to treat a medical condition (e.g. toothpaste, mouthwash, lotion, shampoo) or are cosmetic in nature (e.g. teeth whitening products, wrinkle reducers). See additional examples in the OTC Chart.

Can members use their UnitedHealthcare UCard® on Amazon.com or through their Amazon mobile app? No, members cannot shop directly on amazon.com or use the Amazon mobile app to purchase products using their OTC credit or UCard.
